The Global Ambassadors and the Worship team met with Mrs Greenleas when she spent a whole day in school telling us about the Fairaware award and Fairtrade issues. The Global Ambassadors have also been involved in running the Fairtrade stall this week!


Switch Off Fortnight Winners


Well done to Beech Class for being the most consistent at keeping lights, Smartboards and computers off. Keep up the good work. Your Global Ambassadors chose a new wet playtime game of Dobble for you to have as your prize!

Australian Students


We met with some students from Sydney who were doing an exchnge with Ripley school. They didn't know what an allotment was, so we showed them We learnt a lot about Australia too. We even looked at their Australian dollars!

This is the Global Ambassador's notice board. Here you can see our flag for winning the Green Flag Award, our Market Garden for produce from the allotment, one of our recycling boxes for cartridges, our school energy rating poster and our Eco-code.

In September two people from KS2 classes put forward their ideas about why they want to be a Global Ambassadors and then the class vote for who they would like to represent them. In September KS1 children will be being invited to join our team too.

Bug Hotel


Global Ambassadors and some children from KS1 are going to rebuild the Bug Hotel in the KS2 garden.
